How we select
Every retreat is by application, and we turn people down. That is not a marketing device. A group with wildly different levels of practice does not work, and the person who suffers most is the one who was let in when they should have been directed elsewhere.
We look at what your practice actually is, whether the format fits it, and whether the health screening raises anything that needs a conversation first.
Fees are published and include accommodation, all meals and every session. Travel is not included, other than in Kashmir where internal travel is.
Places are released to current students and teacher training graduates before they open publicly. Kashmir in particular fills from that list alone in most years.
