A place to study, not a place to drop in.
The Kundalin Institute runs graded programmes in asana, breath and meditation. Live online across India, in person for immersion weekends, and on retreat four times a year.

Why this exists
There is no shortage of yoga in India. There is a shortage of yoga taught in order.
[DRAFT] Most of the people who come to us are not looking for a hobby. They are running businesses, or teams, or both, and they have arrived at the point where the thing that always worked, which was more hours and more effort and more willingness to absorb, has quietly stopped working.
[DRAFT] I came to this from a career in technology and management consulting. Long enough in it to watch what sustained load does to capable people, and to notice that we are trained exhaustively for the work and left to improvise the recovery.
[DRAFT] What I had been practising privately the whole time turned out to be a precise answer to exactly that. Not a philosophy to agree with. A set of methods, sequenced, argued and written down, from a tradition that treated attention as trainable and recovery as a skill.
[DRAFT] The Institute exists because that material is rarely taught as what it is. You get a fitness class with Sanskrit names attached, or something mystified past the point where you can tell what is being claimed. Rarely the thing itself, in sequence, with the reasoning stated and the sources on the table.
What we are, and what we are not
We are a school.
Fixed cohorts, an application, a curriculum with a start and an end, and a certificate that means something because the assessment was real. Twelve people at a time.
We are not a studio.
No memberships, no class packs, no drop ins, no permanent room with our name on the door. Every rupee that would have gone into a lease goes into faculty and cohort size instead.
How we work
We tell you where every practice comes from.
Each technique is traceable to a text, and we say which one. You should be able to check what you are told.
We sequence.
Nothing strong is taught before its preparation. That makes the programmes slower, and it is why they work.
We make no claims about outcomes.
Not about health, not about awakening, not about what practice will do for you.
We keep cohorts to twelve.
It caps our revenue and it is not negotiable.

Where we teach
Weekday sessions run live online, so you can study from anywhere in India. Immersion weekends and afternoons run in person at a venue confirmed with each cohort, indoor and with air filtration, which between October and February is not a luxury.
We do not keep a permanent studio. The money goes into faculty and cohort size instead.
