The problem, framed properly
Corporate wellbeing usually fails for a structural reason. It is sold as relaxation. An hour of calm on a Wednesday, then back into the same conditions.
The useful frame is not stress. It is load without recovery, the frame elite sport has used for forty years.
Athletes do not avoid load. They manage the ratio between load and recovery, and they train attention deliberately. Nobody in a high performing team needs less demand placed on them. They need a recovery capacity that matches it, and an attention span that survives the day.
That reframe is the whole method. It is also why it lands with people who would never book a wellness session.
The framework
| What it does | What is taught | |
|---|---|---|
| Load | Establishes what the work actually costs. Most people know they are tired. Few can say what is causing it. The first sessions build a baseline, covering focused versus reactive hours, recovery windows actually taken, and sleep and load self reported weekly. | Movement and asana. Posture under a desk is a load problem before it is a wellbeing one. |
| Recovery | The mechanism. Breath is the fastest available lever on physiological state, and unlike most wellbeing content it is trainable and observable inside a single session. | Pranayama. Participants leave with a short protocol they can run between meetings, not a practice needing forty minutes and a quiet room. |
| Attention | The outcome the business is actually buying. A trainable capacity that degrades under sustained load. | Concentration practice, taught as technique with no requirement to adopt anything. |
How we measure
Every engagement is evaluated against the Kirkpatrick four levels, the standard your L&D team already uses, so the reporting slots into what they present upward without translation.
| Level | What we measure | How |
|---|---|---|
| 1, Reaction | Session rating, programme NPS, free text response | Post session, two minutes |
| 2, Learning | Practice capability against a defined standard | Midpoint and endpoint check |
| 3, Behaviour | Adherence between sessions, application at work | Weekly log plus a 30, 60 and 90 day pulse |
| 4, Results | Indicators you already track, such as eNPS, absence and attrition in the participating team | Your data, compared pre and post |
Instruments
The WHO-5 Well Being Index at intake and completion, five items and one minute. The Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, nine items, for engagement. Both are established and widely used, which matters when someone in the room asks where the numbers come from.
What we will not do
We do not administer clinical screening instruments. Surfacing a depression or anxiety finding with no clinician and no referral pathway is a liability for you, not a service. We report participation and self reported change. We do not claim health outcomes, and any provider who does is either careless or selling you something they cannot evidence.
Formats
Single session
Sixty minutes, on site or online. Useful as an introduction, or inside an offsite or wellbeing week.
Eight week series
Sixty minutes weekly, same cohort throughout. The format we recommend, because it is the only one where anything carries forward.
Leadership half day
Four hours with a small senior group. Attention, recovery and load, in language that group will actually use.
Monthly retainer
One session a month plus a recorded library teams can use in between.
Every engagement is scoped and quoted individually. Group size, format, location and duration all change the shape of it. Tell us the context and we come back with a written proposal and a number within two working days.
What you receive
Attendance and completion data
Session by session, with completion rate and drop off points, supplied as a spreadsheet.
Pre and post instrument results
WHO-5 and UWES-9 at intake and completion, reported as measured change.
Participant feedback
Anonymised free text responses and a programme rating.
A written summary
Two pages covering what ran, what participation looked like, what participants reported, and what we would recommend next.

Who delivers this
Kartik Dhar holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and postgraduate qualifications from UCLA. He spent his career in technology and in management consulting, and designs these programmes for the kind of organisation he used to work inside.
He is a certified Dale Carnegie trainer and holds the ISTD Diploma in Training and Development, the professional qualification of the Indian Society for Training and Development.
On the practice side, a Yoga Alliance RYT 500, a Registered Yoga School, and certification from the Yoga Certification Board under the Ministry of Ayush.
